As one that holds so much feminine energy, it is a challenge to hold all of this motion, emotion, flow, fiery passion, open to the vulnerabilities and to surrender to change, to motion, to the moon and to the ocean; especially when this world has seemed to demand masculine energies to achieve.

I remember as a child hearing don't be so sensitive so many times as my parents were concerned about my "making it" in this world with my incredibly sensitive nature. I have learned to keep all of my sensitivity, which is a gift (now I can say that), after years of learning the art of being feminine. Now, for the most part, I can hold all of it without "projecting" emotion out onto others who are unwilling recipients. This is an art form that I hope all of us can learn, yet not at the expense of suppressing the feminine energies (meaning we may have to learn how to deal with the outbursts of emotion to bring this into balance).

As a world, a society, we have had too much emphasis on the masculine energies, the power, the structure, and the mental and much of it not in its highest integrity form. Masculine energies are wonderful and are needed yet it is time for us as a society to respect, to honor, to bring in the feminine energies, to welcome them.

The blend of the two energies is the magic, true magic, in relationship, in ourselves, in our society. Yes the yin/yang; it is time.
